Redeemer Students
At Redeemer Community Church, we don’t see our students as the future of the Church. We see them as the Church! Therefore, we place emphasis on bible study, worship, ministry, and missions.
Our Redeemer Students Values are:
Jesus is Greater.
Everyone is Important.
Everyone is Invited.
No One Sits Alone.
We Live and Love Out Loud.
We Fight for Unity.

HUNGRY GAMES 2023
Hungry games is our Student Summer ministry, full of games, scripture and local mission. Throughout the Summer, every Wednesday night, the students meet at the Plateau next to Oneonta High School, where they compete on teams to earn the most points by the end of the summer. The Students play a variety of games including kickball, ultimate frisbee, obstacle games, and even have a water night. The students also compete in Scripture memory as they are given a new Scripture every week to memorize. Finally, Students bring canned goods to help local missions with food needs. As they compete, students learn to be Hungry for the word, Hungry for missions, and Hungry to win the games, all while hearing a devotion from various church members! Come check us out on Wednesdays at 6pm! Contact Austin for more info!
RECOMMENDED SUMMER READING
For Parents!... How did we arrive at this modern culture where gender must be chosen, sexuality is defined by (broken) desires, and identity is something defined solely by what a person feels? In Strange New World, Carl Trueman tells the story of how we arrived in this odd cultural scene we call today. And more importantly, Trueman offers a way forward in interacting with this culture and raising the next generation. Parents will benefit from this book as they become informed about what led to the present society and as they consider how to live in it.
For Parents and Students!... Some of God's most precious words in Scripture are given to people who are anxious. Do you know what God says to His often fearful children?... In A Small Book for the Anxious Heart, Ed Welch seeks to teach others what God says about fear and trust. Parents and students will benefit as they learn and live in light of God's promises for the worried.
BIBLE READING PLAN
During Summer, we often get to take a break from School and many other activities. However, Summer is not a break from the Lord.... Here is a simple Bible reading plan that will help you continue to HEAR from the Lord. This Summer's plan will take you through Proverbs, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, and even dip into Revelation!
