Meet Audrey
Audrey Young is the Director of Redeemer Kids at Redeemer Community Church. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Eufaula, Alabama. Audrey graduated from Eufaula High School in 1996 and attended Auburn University, where she met her husband, Neil. Neil graduated from Oneonta High School in 1995. They have two children, Peyton and Emma. Peyton is in the Air Force and will be attending Auburn University. Their family pet is a sweet Boston Terrier, Gracie. Gracie doesn’t have any plans to further her education, but is happy to live the good life on the farm.
Audrey’s home is in Springville where she and her family raise beef. She describes Young Farms as “a dream I didn’t know had. I truly love living on our little piece of country paradise. We know that we have been blessed beyond measure.” The Young family enjoys traveling together. They also love camping, sailing, sports, concerts, and spending time with their family and friends.
Audrey says that “God has placed a love for children in my heart.” She began baby-sitting as a young teenager and continued as a nanny throughout college. Audrey was a music and Spanish teacher at Clearly Kids Christian Academy and a substitute teacher for St. Clair County Schools before joining the staff at Redeemer Community Church.
Audrey is passionate about providing children a biblical foundation in Christ. She says, “It is so important and I am blessed to be able to continue His work at Redeemer.”
